Mallory has been a stylist for ten years! Within that time they have worked in corporate salons around the country and single-owner salons within the Pittsburgh area. Mallory has been doing their own hair since they were 11 years old. However, they started their formal education at Empire Beauty School in the North Hills. Mallory has a passion for education within the industry. They have multiple certifications in many areas. Over the years they have focused their expertise on vivid hair color, hair loss, extensions, and short and curly cuts.
Mallory opened Vibrant Styles Hair Salon in 2020. They have a goal to have a location where guests can get all their beauty needs seen to in one spot. They also will be focusing on educating future beauty industry professionals within Vibrant Styles.
Fun Fact: Mallory grew up on a llama farm near Punxsutawney, PA.

Madi has two boys and loves working with kids.

Nina has been doing hair for fifteen years, and loves to meet new people! Before the pandemic, they traveled the country working in professional theatre hair, wigs, and makeup. Their work in theatre, film, and runway has made making fun, creative styles a big part of their life.
Nina is also the Social Media/Marketing Leader for the salon.
Nina is a total comic book nerd and has two adorable black cats named Shadow and Nightwing. In their spare time, they love to read, sing karaoke, and binge-watch shows!

Marisa has been doing nails for 4 years and hair for 3. She started her love for the beauty industry at 10 years old by coloring and cutting her own hair, doing special effects makeup, and nail art on herself. In 2019 she attended south hills beauty academy where she completed the cosmetology course and got certified in airbrush makeup.
Marisa specializes in hand painted nail art, vivid hair color, curly hair and edgy hair cuts. Currently she is expanding her knowledge in hair extensions and new color techniques as a level 1 stylist.
Marisa is a jack of all trades when it comes to crafting. She can draw, paint, sculpt, sew and more. Fun fact: Marisa made her own wedding dress! She has 2 dogs, Hyde and Sage, that she spends most of her free time with unless she’s binging a new anime.

In his free time, Grey loves spending time outside and in nature. He is an animal lover, with three dogs and a cat at home. Grey is neurodivergent and welcomes everyone in his chair, he himself knows the salon can introduce many new sensory experiences and would love help you feel your best and most comfortable.

Sam has been a professional hair stylist for over a year and a half. Before that, he had been experimenting with his own hair color for years. Sam got their start at North Hills Beauty Academy in West View. They specialize in color and transformative haircuts.
When not working, Sam enjoys spending time with his friends and pursuing various hobbies. He enjoys reading, crocheting, painting, and creating beaded jewelry and clothing. They also have a growing interest in sewing. Sam loves swimming and the ocean. This is not surprising since they grew up around pools and beaches. He also has a 13-year-old cat, Screamo, named for his loud constant meows that can be heard anywhere in the home.
Sam is eager to begin this new chapter with Vibrant Styles. He firmly believe education is a lifelong pursuit, both personally and professionally.

Dani is a third-year student at Parkway West CTC. Their favorite type of service to practice is anything nails, but they’re particularly looking forward to learning more about color. Dani loves the positivity of the salon and strives to match that energy in what they do. They love to learn new things, so you may catch them asking tons of questions.
Dani fell in love with cosmetology after trying their hand at cosplaying for a hobby. They absolutely loved using cosmetics to achieve the desired look and decided to work towards becoming a cosmetologist. Dani started cosmetology school in their freshman year and will be fully licensed by graduation!
In Dani’s free time, they enjoy trying many different hobbies. They are obsessed with music and tend to enjoy things more when there’s a good beat in the background.
